Season 4, Episode 6:
Displacement
The Roci crew prepares for an incoming disaster on Ilus: the shockwave from the island explosion, as well as the resulting tsunami rushing towards the colony. Ashford and Drummer close in on an enemy within the Belt. Bobbie takes on a dangerous job.
Tropes:
- Giant Wall of Watery Doom: One of these is heading towards colony, leaving the colonists mere hours to evacuate.
- Happier Home Movie: Ashford watches a video from before the fire that scarred him and killed his daughter.
- Spreading Disaster Map Graphic: Alex and Naomi look down at one in the Rocinante that shows the tsunami as it progresses inland towards the colony.
- Time for Plan B: Holden runs through plans A and B, which depend on equipment that it turns out they don't have access to, before getting to plan C, which amounts to "we all die." Fortunately, they figure out a plan D.
- Trash the Set: The tsunami destroys the colony.
