Recap / The Emperor's New School S2 E31 "Graduation Groove"

Go To

Graduation day has come, which means that Kuzco will finally get to be emperor again. However, Yzma had a plan put together in case graduation day came. Unfortunately, she accidentally drops it causing it to go to waste, so she had to go with a backup plan.

As Kuzco is celebrating, he is approached by the royal record keeper who has him watch a video on the responsibilities he would have to deal with upon becoming emperor, such as leadership. Kuzco starts having second thoughts on his desire to be emperor again, as he feels he wouldn't be a good leader at all.

Yzma the gives him a potion that would permanently turn him into a chicken. From there, Kuzco starts living a life of freedom before unknowingly walking into a Mudka's truck heading to a meat mug manufacturing plant. Fortunately for him, Malina and Kronk are able to find him and help him realize how capable of a leader he can be.

With his newfound confidence, Kuzco heads back to the palace to stop Yzma from being crowned empress while also drinking a potion to change himself back. Upon becoming emperor, Kuzco declares that everybody who cheers for him gets one kuzco, then he taxes everybody who cheers for him one kuzcoin. Realizing this is the final episode, Malina finally agrees to go on a date with Kuzco.
