Holt is accused of killing and burying his mother. Meanwhile, Junior swallows Rallo's new pet goldfish.

Tropes:

  • An Aesop: If you're in an abusive relationship, get out of it, regardless of whether your abuser is male or female. If your abuser uses violence against you, do not be afraid to call the police.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: At first, Jane seems like a lonely but friendly Crazy Cat Lady but after she hooks up with Holt, she is revealed to be a violent, sadistic maniac who quickly becomes abusive towards him.
  • Carpet-Rolled Corpse: Holt rolls up the body of "his mother" in a carpet, and buries her by a bridge.
  • Cat Fight: Donna beats the shit out of Jane, in an epic fight scene. Soon, Kendra and Arianna also join in.
  • Companion Cube: Kimi to Holt.
  • Crappy Carnival: Stoolfest.
  • Crazy Cat Lady: Jane. Though even her cats don't like her, as one of them shuts off the phone when she sends them a message.
  • Domestic Abuse: The way Jane treated Holt.
  • Double Standard: Abuse, Female on Male: Jane was physically abusing Holt, but he couldn't fight back, because he was a guy. Cleveland and The Guys wouldn't dare hit a girl either. It wasn't until Donna, Arianna, and Kendra stepped in, that they finally gave her a real bruising.
  • Embarrassing Middle Name: Holt's middle name is revealed to be "Anne".
  • Evil All Along: Jane turns out to be this.
  • Follow That Car: The cops follow Holt's Chrysler Crossfire with a McCain/Palin bumper sticker on the window.
  • Good All Along: Cleveland and Donna assumed Holt was a matricidal maniac, but Holt turns out to be innocent, as the alleged body, he "killed", was actually his inanimate sex doll, Kimi. In contrast, later on in the episode, his new girlfriend goes through being the opposite.
  • Groin Attack: Jane gives this to Terry.
  • Hidden Depths: Rallo shows off his stellar basketball skills, at the hard-to-win carnival game.
  • Hidden Eyes: Jane had Holt wear shades, to his his black eye.
  • Hidden Wire: Cleveland wears this, when interviewing Holt.
  • Innocently Insensitive: Tim makes an observation how much black guys love Scarface.
  • Lemming Cops: The cops follow Holt's car.
  • Manchild: Holt's Mama still treats him, like he's a little kid.
Cleveland: How come your mom never lets you come to poker night?
    Holt: It's at 9:00! It's late!
  • Matricide: Holt is presumed to have killed his mother.
  • Mister Seahorse: Junior swallows Rallo's goldfish whole, but the fish is still alive, inside of his belly. While they wait for Junior to poop the fish out, his containment of the fish is treated like a pregnancy. Junior, giving birth to the fish is substituted by him crapping it out.
  • Nausea Dissonance: After Rallo's goldfish is "born", he and Junior look into the toilet to see him. However, they are both not happy to see, what happened. It's never explained what exactly is wrong, whether the fish is dead and/or partially digested, or buried under too much shit for comfort, but the two make a lot of funny comments about it, leaving much to the imagination.
    • And earlier in the episode, Holt's Mama was trying on clothes in the changing room. The door opens and she's heard yelling out, "Can you see through this skirt?", and Holt cringes and groans in absolute disgust.
  • Not in the Face!: Terry begs Jane not to hit him in the face.
  • Prison Rape: It's implied that Holt, a muscular, boyish figure, with a waist-high head, would "be the most popular guy in his prison".
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: After being beaten by the wives, Jane decides to go back to her hometown where they "get her".
  • Sunglasses at Night: Holt has to wear these, in order to hide his black eye.
  • Wrongly Accused: Holt gets this, of killing his mother.
