Plot

In the season three finale, Leonard has a wild passionate night with a drunken Penny when she's angry with her new boyfriend. Meanwhile, Raj and Howard use an online dating site to find Sheldon his perfect woman. Sheldon may have finally met his match when he meets Amy Farrah Fowler.

Tropes:

• Brick Joke: When they are on the roof in the beginning, Sheldon is freaked out by a sock found there. Later, Raj makes Sheldon go along with the dating site plan by telling him that he had hidden the sock somewhere in the apartment.
• Detonation Moon: Zack is afraid the guys will blow up the moon with their laser.
• Get Out!: How the subplot regarding Leonard and Penny ends.
• Gone Horribly Right: Raj and Howard use the dating site to find the perfect woman for Sheldon. Upon meeting Amy, they realize that maybe she's too perfect for him.
• My God, What Have I Done?: Said word for word when Raj and Howard see Sheldon and Amy interacting like perfectly mirrored images.
• Shout-Out to The Good Wife and Grey's Anatomy: Raj uses a telescope to watch someone else's TV. He explains that "The Good Wife is on. I tell you, this is my new Grey's Anatomy. When Howard wants to point the telescope back at the Moon, Raj says "Wait a second, the good wife is crying. Something's very wrong."
