The city's new freeway threatens the Addamses' house. Gomez decides not to take this lying down, but can any measures save the family's home?

- Comically Missing the Point: When Gomez says the demolition will go ahead regardless of whether they're in the house or not. Morticia says it's a pity because they usually sleep late.
- Community-Threatening Construction: Henson routes the new freeway so that the Addams house will need to be torn down to accommodate it. This bites him in the rear because the Addamses have to go somewhere...
- In the Back: Uncle Fester grabs his blunderbuss to shoot the demolition man in the back. However, the man is facing him, so he asks him to turn around.
- Pyrrhic Victory: The commissioner succeeds in ousting the Addamses from their property, but they decide to move their house to the lot next to his. The mayor holds an emergency meeting to convince the council to reroute the freeway.
