Grumpy tries to keep himself from getting irritated at everything after a witch threatens him to turn him into a blob of melted cheese.
The Episode has the following tropes:
- Breaking the Fourth Wall: Before Grumpy goes off on the old lady, we cut to Happy warning the audience to cover their ears.
- Brutal Honesty: Doc and a random villager flat-out tell Lord Starchbottom that he's annoying.
- Carrying a Cake: The 7D are tasked to bring a giant cheese statue of Queen Delightful to the castle. Unfortunately, it melts because the woman is uncooperative and refuses to let the 7D cross first.
- Digging Yourself Deeper: When the woman tells Grumpy to kiss her pet pig, Mindy, his refusal to do so quickly escalates into a heated argument to the point where he calls the same offensive term he said earlier, and the woman recurses him again, this time he'll be a blob of cheese for the rest of his life.
- Foreshadowing: If the woman did curse Grumpy, there would be a puff of magic smoke if a spell was in effect note . This indicates that she was faking it the entire time.
- Forced Transformation: The woman threatened to turn Grumpy into a blob of cheese. Subverted, because she never really does that, she only said that to scare Grumpy.
- Gilligan Cut: Queen Delightful gives Grumpy the idea that if he apologizes to the woman, she might lift the curse. Cut to her refusing to lift the curse.
- Hand Gagging: Dopey has to cover Grumpy's mouth to keep him from yelling or saying offensive words.
- Laser-Guided Karma: For giving Grumpy a whole lot of trouble in the entire episode and for calling him a...very offensive term in Jollywoodian, the woman ends up getting "cursed" by a wizard (really an elderly salesman who sells hats).
- Mass "Oh, Crap!": The rest of the 7D has this reaction when Grumpy rants at the woman.Grumpy: (to the woman) You know what you are?Sleepy: Uh oh.Bashful: Grumpy, don't!Sneezy: He's gonna say it!
- Sound-Effect Bleep: An offensive term used by Jolliwoodians is "Needle-nose-[bike horn]-sippy-[car horn]-bog-woggle-[quack]-[bell ring]-dunk-dipper".
- Spanner in the Works: If Bashful hadn't planned to talk to the woman that cursed Grumpy, she would've kept her "pretend-to-be-a-powerful-witch" ruse going and none of the 7D would have known.
- Transflormation: A "wizard" threatened to turn the woman into wood if she kept bothering Grumpy.
- Troll: The woman has shades of this. For example she tries to make Grumpy kiss her pig and she only pretended to be a witch to scare Grumpy into not being so irritable. Needless to say, the latter isn't having any of it.
- Truth in Television: The so-called witch that wouldn't let the 7D cross the bridge earlier and her trying to play the victim is pretty much how Real Life "Karens" act today.
- The Unsmile: To try to keep himself from getting angry after Happy sings a song about being happy, Grumpy pulls off a very unsettling smile, which the rest of the 7D lampshade.Sleepy: It's kinda creepy.Bashful: Double creepy.
- Wham Line: When Bashful goes to talk to the woman who cursed Grumpy, he hears her tell her friends about her being a witch and cursing him to which one of them says: "But you're not a witch!".Doc: She's not a witch?!Bashful: Nope. She made it all up to teach Grumpy a lesson!
