- Mad Scientist: Lloyd Cycloid is a disgraced scientist who finds out about the Time Stopper, steals it and then uses it to create the Cycloid Satellite.
- Stupidity-Inducing Attack: The Cycloid Satellite's whole purpose is to drain the brains of everyone in the world, making him the most intelligent being on a planet populated with morons.
- Time Stands Still: Donatello invents the Time Stopper, a ray that can freeze anything hit with its light.
