Cyborg becomes trapped in an alternate dimension that runs on The Power of Rock, and the other Titans need help to play the song that links the dimensions together.
- Arc Villain: The main villain of the mini-series is a large red dragon who used to rule the alternate dimension before B.E.R. introduced The Power of Rock to it, and now seeks to steal all of their music in order to remake the world in his own image.
- Call-Back: To 40%, 40%, 20%; not only is the alternate dimension based on Cyborg's favorite song from that episode, but Reagan refers to himself as the "sweet, sweet 20%" of the band. Many of the things in the rock dimension, such as the red dragon and the giant robot SWEET, are also based on the album art seen in that episode.
- The Cameo: Actual musicians Cee Lo Green and Fall Out Boy appear in Part 1, when the other Titans try asking them to help get to the musical dimension, and then much later in Part 4 as The Cavalry.
- The Cavalry: In the final Part, just when it looks like the dragon will be victorious, the Titans are able to summon the famous musicians they had met earlier to fight back with their own musical talents.
- Fun with Acronyms: The band "B.E.R." is named after the last initials of its members, Carl Burnett, Frank Enea, and William J. Reagan.
- I Choose to Stay: After saving the alternate dimension in Part 4, B.E.R. decides to stay there this time, because they feel responsible for protecting it from further threats.
- Multi-Part Episode: Unlike the regular self-contained adventures in Teen Titans GO!, this is a four-part special.
- Reduced to Dust: When the combined power of B.E.R. and Cyborg defeat the dragon in the final part, it disintegrates into green dust that's blown away by the wind.
- Retired Badass Roundup: In Part 2, while in a funk now that his best friend Cyborg isn't around, Beast Boy learns that William J. Reagen of B.E.R. retired from music and is now working as a car mechanic. In Part 3, Raven then finds the other two members so the band can reunite and they can save the alternate dimension from the dragon.
