Tropes:
- Lawyer-Friendly Cameo: The Competition is very clearly Marvel Comics and it uses the powers of Marvel heroes, but both are slightly altered in appearance for legal deniability.
- Take That!: "The Competition", the business shown to rival DC that ends up getting utterly wrecked, is obviously inspired by Marvel; it's predominately red to contrast with DC's blue, it's attacks include shooting webs (Spider-Man), claws (Wolverine), a shield (Captain America), and a hammer (Thor), and the only letter left on its "The Competition" sign after its defeat is the "M".
