When Beast Boy and Cyborg decide to create yearbooks for each of the Titans, Robin does whatever it takes to be the most popular Titan.

Tropes:

  • Art Shift: When Robin tricks Raven into transporting him inside the yearbook, he ends up in the signatures section and now looks all sketchy.
  • Brick Joke: When Robin doesn't get what he wants for building up a boot enterprise, he blows up his factory. At the end, it's revealed that he was indicted for embezzlement and racketeering for doing so.
  • Continuity Nod: Robin’s hatred of Speedy is brought up in this episode as he is the only one Robin doesn’t ask to sign his yearbook.
  • Gross-Up Close-Up: Of Robin's tight pants.
  • Hard-Work Montage: Robin goes through one of these as he’s building his cowboy boot empire.
  • Jump Scare: The final second of the episode during the epilogue has one of these on Robin's picture.
  • Picture Day: Cyborg takes pictures of his friends for the yearbook. Robin ends up getting an awkward picture, complete with visible sweat, small zits, and a piece of broccoli in his teeth.
  • Punctuated! For! Emphasis!: Cyborg and Beast Boy annoy the Titans by taking turns saying each word.
  • Sanity Slippage: Robin suffers some serious slippage throughout the episode, culminating in him wanting to be literally in the yearbook.
  • Schmuck Bait: Robin tricks Raven into getting her to put him in the yearbook by signing her yearbook, then asking her to read what he wrote. She can't believe she fell for it.
  • Self-Made Man: Robin builds a successful boot franchise to prove that he's "Most Likely to Succeed", which turns out to be all for moot when he finds out that he can't earn that title if he already succeeded.
  • School Clubs Are Serious Business: While the Titans join various clubs that will be in the yearbook, Robin is left alone in his own "clubs".
Cyborg: There has to be two people in a club. Otherwise, it's just a sad, lonely little man hanging out himself.
  • Sealed Evil in a Can: More crazy than evil, but Robin becomes this when he gets trapped in the yearbook at the end of the episode.
  • There Was a Door: Robin tries to exit the tower by hitting the window a few times before blowing it open with one of his birdarangs and jumping out of it.
  • Title Drop: Raven says the episode's title when describing Robin's obsession with the yearbook.
  • "Where Are They Now?" Epilogue: The episode ends with the Titans' yearbook photos with captions of what happened to them since.
    • Cyborg becomes a movie star.
    • Starfire opens a school at Tamaran, teaching English as a second language.
    • Beast Boy dies after getting into chocolate.
    • Raven succumbs to Trigon's influence and enslaves the universe.
    • Robin is indicted of embezzlement after blowing up his boot factory, but is never caught since he's still inside the yearbook.
