Mad Mod turns the Titans into old people, who are Raven's favorite type of people.
- Came Back Wrong: The Titans at the end. Not that Raven minds.
- Deal with the Devil
- Did You Just Scam Cthulhu?: Subverted. Raven thinks she cheated Death for the Titans souls. She was wrong, as the Titans come back as old people zombies. She's okay with it though, because she likes zombies as well as old people.
- Disproportionate Retribution: The episode begins with some young people making fun of Mad Mod's old age. Roughly two seconds later...
- Evil Brit: Mad Mod is a subversion this time. See The Voiceless.
- Grim Reaper: Death makes his appearance. He even sings a song!
- I Can't Hear You
- Karma Houdini: Mad Mod is never punished for turning the Titans into old people.
- Rapid Aging: The people of Jump City, and eventually Robin, Cyborg, Beast Boy, and Starfire, all lose their youth to Mad Mod. It’s the same case as Robin in the original series episode Revolution, except in Revolution, Robin was the only one affected and he got his youth back by the end.
- Rule of Funny: Old Cyborg somehow has grandkids.
- They Killed Kenny Again: Once again featuring the deaths of main characters, in this case every Titan not named Raven.
- The Voiceless: Aside from the Evil Laugh (which was a stock evil laugh used in Yu-Gi-Oh!), Mad Mod doesn't utter a single line in this entire episode.
- We All Die Someday: Invoked when Beast Boy dies in his sleep. The other aged titans die shortly after.
