It's the final day of the Cloud 9 Superstore. Everyone is getting ready to go their separate ways and pondering their next moves. And Amy returns to figure out her next move, and where her relationship with Jonah will go next.

Tropes:

  • Earn Your Happy Ending: And HOW! After many of the cast have struggled with decades in low paying, unfulfilling jobs, along with dealing with their tumultuous personal lives, the finale shows that most of the main cast have moved on to happier, more fulfilling professional occupations and personal relationships.
  • Entertainingly Wrong: A heartwarming example. All throughout the episode Garrett has insisted none of the employees will remain in touch with one another after the store closes. The final montage shows that he was incorrect, as they remain close friends for years afterward.
  • Grand Finale: For the entire series.
  • "Where Are They Now?" Epilogue: The closing moments of the show reveal the fates of many of the main cast. Glenn has reopened Sturgis & Sons Hardware, with Cheyenne and Mateo as his employees. Dina has moved on to the manager of the fulfillment center along with Marcus, Justine, and Sandra who is now her assistant manager, and all of them seem to have a far better working relationship and friendship. Dina and Garrett have agreed to become boyfriend and girlfriend. Amy and Jonah have gotten married and have a child together. Amy has found a new corporate position, and Jonah has decided to run for city council. One of the final scenes shows that, despite the store being closed, the employees have all remained in touch with one another years later, as they are all seen enjoying a picnic together in Glenn's backyard.
