This episode provides examples of:

• Bait-and-Switch: Gibson screams when he's cornered by an armed Suppa. However the scene soon shows that he was the same size as Gibson.
• Big "NO!": Done by Gibson when Suppa starts to attack him.
• Cool Mask: Suppa wears an intimidating one when fighting Gibson. However it's soon broken by the latter, revealing Suppa to be a blue alien frog.
• Fire-Forged Friends: Gibson and Suppa become this while stranded in a planet.
• Genius Ditz: Suupa, the blue frog. Shown to be Gibson's equal in scientific knowledge, but doesn't realize he can breath the air till Gibson points it out to him.
• Guilty Until Someone Else Is Guilty: The frog team attacks the Hyperforce believing them to have attacked their kind before. However they're soon proven wrong when the real attacker is revealed to be Skeleton King's TV monster, who quickly destroys their robot.
• Insult Backfire: Suppa when hearing Gibson saying "Power Primate", laughs saying his Hyperforce must have been destroyed by his amphibod brothers, and Gibson replies that or the Hyperforce defeated them as easily as he did with Suppa.
• No-One Could Have Survived That: Said by Otto after they see the frog team blown up, only to reveal that they had survived about five seconds later.
• No One Gets Left Behind: Suppa gets injured when they're attacked by one of Skeleton King's robots and suggests to Gibson to leave him behind to save himself, however Gibson refuses.
