After Jeffy makes a big mess while playing, Mario punishes him by pretending to be dead. Hilarity Ensues.
This episode provides examples of:
- Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking: Mario punishes Jeffy by taking away his privileges to phones, TV, video games, and his diaper. Though this is Jeffy's punishment, so..
- Dumbass Has a Point: The wise words of Jeffy: "Technically, I didn't break the glass. The ball did."
- Jeffy is also able to detect bad cops, as after officers Top and Bottom make no conclusions and do nothing but make sex jokes, he smacks the couch in annoyance.
- Faking the Dead: The plot of the episode is about Mario faking his death to punish Jeffy. Unfortunately, Jeffy doesn't care... until he does.
- Late to the Realization: Upon seeing Mario's skeleton, Jeffy thinks he's still perfectly fine, despite Junior explicitly stating he isn't. Later, when Junior tells Jeffy again, he finally realizes and breaks down.
- Musicalis Interruptus: During Jeffy and Junior's rave party, Mr. Goodman rings the doorbell, distracting the two. They resume singing, but now with an odd time signature.
- My God, What Have I Done?: After realizing Mario pranked him, Jeffy sets up a fake skeleton to fool him. This makes Mario go into a panic attack, before realizing it was a prank.
- Plot Hole: Mr. Goodman tries to sell Mario's house after being deceived that he was dead. But couldn't Bowser have owned the house if Mario died?
- Prank Punishment: Mario pranks Jeffy into thinking he's dead to punish him.
- Shout-Out: Jeffy tries to distract (dead) Mario by saying the weather will be Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.
- Skewed Priorities: When Mr. Goodman finds out about Mario's death, he genuinely seems upset at Mario's death... but he's actually sad he can't bother him for his debts anymore.
