Shebang returns to ask for Static and Gear's help when her parents get kidnapped by an old collegue, Dr. Koenig AKA Heavyman.

- Forced into Evil: Heavyman kidnaps and forces Shenice's parents to help him steal materials to build a pressure chamber to cure his condition. To ensure their cooperation, he placed collars on their necks that will inject them with a deadly poison.
- Hoist by His Own Petard: Heavyman was defeated not by Static, but by his own powers. Because he had been absorbing so much mass up to that point, he finally became too heavy to move.
- Internal Reveal: Shebang learns both Virgil and Richie are Static and Gear after following them to their Gas Station.
- Never My Fault: After the pressure chamber fails to cure him, Heavyman blames Shenice's parents for it and decides to carry out his threat of having the injection collars kill them, even though the machine failed because his mass had become too great and Shenice's parents even warned him that it wouldn't work if he kept absorbing matter. Shenice rightfully calls him out on this.
- Photo Doodle Recognition: How Virgil and Ritchie discover who Heavyman was. Upon discovering a picture of Shenice's parents and their former collegues, Virgil notices something familiar about Dr. Koenig, zooms in on him, and does some digital editing into Heavyman.
- You Have Failed Me: Because Heavyman has absorbed too much mass for Shenice's parents to be able to cure him, he decides to kill them for their failure. But luckily, Gear was able to dismantle the collars before the injection.
