- Aborted Arc: Destiny is revealed to be one in-universe. The Ancients built it as a long-term project, intending to gate aboard once it had passed far enough out into the larger universe. Rush speculates the plan was abandoned due to their research into Ascension (although, while it's not stated, it's equally possible the onset of the plague that wiped out the Milky Way Ancients was another factor).
