A group from Destiny is left behind on a planet when the ship enters F.T.L., and must find a Stargate route back before the ship leaves the galaxy.
Tropes
- Abusive Parents: In Greer's flashbacks we see that his father was physically abusive to both him and his mother. According to his mother it happened as a result of him being a Shell-Shocked Veteran.
- Cliffhanger: Despite Eli's best efforts, the three fail to reach Dstiny on time and are left behind.
- Conspiracy Theorist: In one of Greer's flashbacks of him and his dad in a hospital, the two are forced to listen to another patient's rambling conspiracies about the government doing all sorts of things to military personnel including vaccines which hospitalized soldiers and depleted uranium munitions being much more harmful than advertised. Eventually Greer's dad has enough and attacks him only for Greer to stop him.
- Hope Spot: Scott, Eli and Chloe manage to reach a planet within range of the Destiny only for their attempt to dial in to get a busy signal because Rush's search party dialed in at the same time. By the time they try to dial in again the ship jumps back into FTL and leaves the galaxy altogether, leaving them behind for good this time.
