Sheppard's team are investigating intel about a possible ZPM. Before finding anything out, they are stunned and captured by a group of humans.
They wake up at their captors hide-out. They are sat down for a meal at which point Lt. Ford reveals himself as the leader of the men.
Ford explains how, thanks to the Wraith enzyme he takes, he managed to survive being abducted by a dart and fought his way out of a Hive ship. He gated to a friendly planet and recruited men to help him fight the wraith. Because all his men are using the enzyme, the majority of their missions have been to kill wraith and extract enzyme. Recently, however, their numbers have grown and they are now harvesting the enzyme from live wraith.
