Weeks after departing the Axum System, Davik Thune's fleet has arrived at their destination: Raxus Secundus, the heavily-defended capital world of the CIS. Despite being massively outnumbered, Thune's fleet overwhelms the Separatist home defense fleet commanded by Admiral Borvant. During the battle, Thune personally boards the Separatist flagship Confederate Pride and easily fights his way through the ship's entire complement of battle droids all the way to the bridge, terrorizing Borvant and the B1 Battle Droids who were watching Thune's advance from the ship's security cameras. After being informed of the impending arrival of Separatist reinforcements being led by General Grievous, Thune kills Borvant and orders his fleet to orbitally bombard Raxus Secundus so that Grievous will have "something to properly grieve."

Tropes in this mini episode include:

  • Antagonist Title: The episode is titled after Davik Thune, one of the series' main antagonists, and the Separatist battle droids.
  • Attack Pattern Alpha: The ending of this mini episode has the titular Chapter Master tell his fleet to use "Attack Pattern Sins of Charity" while ordering the Orbital Bombardment of Raxus Secundus.
  • Big "WHAT?!": Borvant responds with a big "WHAT?" upon learning from one of his bridge droids that the droidekas he sent to kill Thune were all taken out within seconds of encountering him.
  • Cutting Through Energy: When Borvant tries to trap Thune by activating the ray shield emittersnote  in the hallway Thune is moving through, Thune uses his Lightning Claws to poke through the ray shields and pop them like bubbles.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle:
    • Thune easily destroys the Confederate Pride's complement of droidekas within mere seconds of making contact and takes out an entire squad of commando droids with a single swipe from his Lightning Claws.
    • Thune's Imperial fleet also makes short work of the Separatist home defense fleet, wiping out most of it with ease.
  • Evil Versus Evil: The mini episode's conflict is between a Separatist admiral and Davik Thune.
  • No-Sell: When Borvant has the sections of his ship that Thune was moving through vented into the void of space, it does nothing to stop Thune, who moves on without even slowing down.
  • Offscreen Moment of Awesome:
    • Borvant is informed by one of his bridge droids that Thune somehow managed to destroy all the destroyer droids sent after him within seconds of making contact with no detail given to him or the audience as to how.
    • Also, it soon turns out that Davik is not the only one boarding a Separatist warship as one of Borvant's bridge droids mention how a lot of the ships in the Separatist home defense fleet have suddenly stopped responding, indicating that the Crimson Razors boarded and disabled those ships offscreen.
  • Oh, Crap!: Borvant's reaction when he sees the Imperial fleet deploy a Nova Cannon which wipes out a quarter of the Separatist home defense fleet. The moment when the B1 battle droid informs him that his fleet has been reduced to 23% is accompanied by a change in the soundtrack to more menacing-sounding music to indicate the severity of the situation and the horror Borvant is feeling in that moment.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: The B1 battle droids serving on the bridge of Admiral Borvant's flagship have just watched security footage of Thune in his Terminator power armor hatefully tearing apart a squad of commando droids with ease. When Thune smashes his way into the ship's bridge, the terrified B1 droids offer no resistance and immediately flee, leaving Borvant alone at the nonexistent mercy of the Astartes.
  • Space Battle: There is a space battle in this mini episode between Thune's naval forces (consisting of the entire Crimson Razors Chapter Fleet and a quarter of Battlefleet Xek-Tek) and the Separatist home defense fleet responsible for defending Raxus Secundus.
  • Villain Episode: The mini episode is primarily told from the perspective of Borvant, a Separatist admiral in charge of Raxus Secundus's defense when the Crimson Razors attack. The ending of the mini episode then switches perspectives to that of Davik Thune, the Chapter Master who is leading the attack.
  • Wham Line: When Admiral Borvant tells Davik Thune that even though he may have won the battle, his occupation of Raxus Secundus will be short-lived. Thune laughs before replying:
    Thune: [amused] Occupation?
  • The Worf Effect: One of the reasons that BX-series commando droids are so dangerous is their agility and use of wild, hard-to-predict movements. Thune is able to figure out their movement patterns enough to accurately predict their actions within mere seconds of observing them.
