The Crimson Razors come to Anaxas. From hell and fury, from madness and frenzy, from loyalty and unending genocide do they come. Davik Thune, Chapter Master of the Razors sets his eyes upon the Confederacy. Dark, and murderous, cunning and vicious, and without mercy or remorse, he eyes the vital shipyards and bustling populations of this new system.

While the Skywatch destroys the Kuat Drive Yards defense fleet and sets out to establish themselves among these alien stars, their fanatical cousins push into the Core worlds, their Warp drives unrestricted by hyperspace routes. Slowly but inevitably they come. To bring war to a galaxy already aflame with it.

Tropes in this episode include:

  • Curb-Stomp Battle: Brother Araknus easily takes out all the battle droids guarding the bridge of Trench's flagship with his Bolter before anyone has time to react.
  • Eviler than Thou: Admiral Trench is no match for the Crimson Razors, who are able to easily capture Trench and his flagship within minutes using only a single five-man fireteam. Brother Taselon then mind rapes the Separatist admiral to death in order to extract information from his brain about the Separatists and the Republic.
  • Kill Steal: When Fireteam Taselon boards the bridge of Admiral Trench's Separatist dreadnought, Araknus uses his Bolter to gun down all the battle droids on the bridge before his fellow Crimson Razors can charge in and reach their targets with their melee weapons. When his fellow Marines, disappointed at being denied their piece of the action, all turn to glare at him for this, Araknus merely smiles and shrugs his shoulders in response.
  • Mind Rape: Brother Tasleon mind rapes Admiral Trench by using his mechadendrites to forcibly hack into the admiral's cybernetic brain in order to extract data about the Separatists as well as the disarming codes for Trench's planet-cracking bomb on Anaxes.
  • Switching P.O.V.: The episode starts out being told from Davik Thune's perspective as his fleet enters the Axum system during the Battle of Anaxes and scouts the place out. The perspective then shifts to Araknus who is leading a Space Marine fireteam sent to seize Trench's flagship with a Boarding Pod. The final POV switch happens near the end when the perspective shifts to Tasleon, who is using his mechadendrites to hack into Trench's brain and the Invulnerable's computers, where he comes across Echo.
  • Villain Episode: This episode is all about the Crimson Razors, who are established as being the more overtly villainous among the Xek-Tek Space Marine Chapters.
