The fifth of twelve shorts connected to season 1, released on the Disney Channel's YouTube on December 17, 2018.
At the loading docks, Synara San offers Flix and Orka a sealed crate the salvagers recovered, which the two eagerly accept and haul back to their shop. However, opening it proves a challenge, with Orka finally succeeding in cracking it by shooting it with a blaster. It turns out that the crate is full of grenades, and Orka accidentally sets them to start counting down when he gets too close, which causes Flix to tell him off. Flix tries to defuse the grenades, saying it requires a careful touch, but instead accelerates the countdown. Flix and Orka leap for what little cover their shop provides, but the grenades don't explode due to their age, to the duo's relief. They take the crate back to the loading docks and dump it and its deadly contents in the ocean. Synara approaches them, carrying another crate. As Flix and Orka turn to face her, a huge explosion erupts from the ocean, sending water and fish spraying all over the loading dock. Synara offers the unopened crate, and Flix and Orka, despite what just happened, eagerly accept, again, with Flix exclaiming that they love surprises.
Tropes:
- Bomb Disposal: Flix attempts to defuse the grenades, but instead causes them to detonate even sooner. Fortunately, the bombs have been in the ocean so long that they don't detonate immediately when the countdown ends, giving Flix and Orka enough time to dispose of the crate in the ocean.
- Book Ends: The short begins and ends with Flix and Orka eagerly buying a sealed crate from Synara.
- Continuity Nod: Synara was established to have gotten a job at the loading docks in "Synara's Score", setting this short after "Signal from Sector Six".
- Here We Go Again!: At the end, when Synara offers Flix and Orka another sealed crate the salvagers recovered, they eagerly accept, despite the last one being full of grenades.
- Oh, Crap!: Flix and Orka's reaction when they find the sealed crate is full of grenades, which then activate and begin counting down.
- Relocating the Explosion: Flix and Orka dump the crate of grenades in the ocean after it fails to go off, which turns out to be a wise precaution as the explosion was merely delayed.
- Shoot Out the Lock: Orka successfully opens the crate by shooting it with a blaster.
- Where's the Kaboom?: Flix and Orka expect the grenades in the crate to explode when their countdown finishes... however, due to their age and how long they've been underwater, they don't. The explosives only go off after being dumped back in the ocean.
