• A Day in the Limelight: This episode is more focused on Tails.
• Big "NO!": Robotnik shouts one after Sonic threw what he thought was the other power stone in lava.
• Earn Your Happy Ending: After not being allowed more on missions because of his age, when Sonic reveals that Tails came up with the plan to fake out Robotnik with a fake power stone and scroll, Sally officially makes Tails the newest Freedom Fighter.
• Fakin' MacGuffin: Sonic used a fake power stone half to trick Robotnik out of getting both power stones. This plan was revealed to have been created by Tails.
• Loophole Abuse: Some of Nicole's data files, including those discribing the "Deep Power Stones", are locked away until Sally "comes of age", or becomes old enough to be regarded as an adult. Sonic convinces Nicole that Sally won't live long enough to become an adult if Robotnik's Doomsday project becomes operational and endangers everyone on Mobius. This logic convinces Nicole to unlock some of the files.
