Wings Of Courage, Fly Cure Wing!! is the 9th episode of Hirogaru Sky! Pretty Cure, and the 927th episode overall of Pretty Cure.
Following from the past episode, Tsubasa joins the fight against Kabaton.
Tropes:
- Banana Peel: Kabaton drops one while eating a few bananas, and he ends up slipping on his own peel.
- Caught Monologuing: Kabaton claims Elle, opens a portal... and spends the following few minutes making various demands, allowing Tsubasa to sneak back into the saucer and rescue Ellee.
- Chekhov's Gun: While taunting Elle-chan and Tsubasa, Kabaton is seen munching on a banana and drops the peel before leaving the room. Later when Tsubasa runs away, Kabaton ends up slipping on the same banana peel.
- Heroic Sacrifice: With Kaboton's UFO rapidly bearing down on them and seeing that Ellee's carriage can't handle his weight, Tsubasa attempts this by letting go. Luckily, Ellee uses her powers to suspend him in midair, holding out long enough for Tsubasa to manifest a Sky Tone and become the flight-enabled Cure Wing.
- Moral Myopia: Kabaton calls Tsubasa a thief for rescuing Ellee, only for Tsubasa to point out the entire plot of the show is about Kabaton abducting Ellee in the first place...
