Leah and Zac are about to have a movie night, watching The Dragon Princess for the 136th time, only to have a few hiccups: Leah has burned the popcorn, Zac's dog Rocket has popped one of the balloon chairs, and said chair breaks the TV, preventing the kids from playing the movie. Leah asks Shimmer and Shine to help provide movie magic, but the genies create an even bigger hiccup: bringing the movie to life.

- When granting Leah's wish for more popcorn, Shine accidentally gives her a whole room full of it. Leah and the genies feed the popcorn to the dragon to keep him from eating her house.
- Shimmer turns Leah's living room into the castle from the Dragon Princess movie, which Leah and Zac use to act out the movie.
- Not Evil, Just Misunderstood: Implied with the dragon. In the movie, the dragon eats the castle because he's hungry, so the princess feeds it. Leah realizes that this is the same with the dragon Shimmer wished up. He even hugs the trio just before he flies away in the climax.
