Recap / Seijuu Sentai Gingaman Ep 23

Go To

At last, the Lights of Ginga have been released, leading to a three-way race between the Gingamen, Dotoumusha, and Bull Black. Who will claim the Lights as their own?

Episode Tropes:

  • All for Nothing: Ultimately, Iliess' manipulations turn out this way as Medoumedou is forced to retreat when Bull Black destroys her urn, and the Gingamen receive the Lights of Ginga.
  • The Bus Came Back: Medoumedou, Iliess' Majin that appeared in the second episode, returns.
  • Golden Super Mode: Upon receiving the Lights of Ginga, the Gingamen access the Radiant Beast Armor.
  • Frame-Up: To ensure that Budoh did not get Captain Zahab's praise for bringing the Lights of Ginga over, Iliess has Medoumedou change into Budoh and trick Dotoumusha into using the Lights of Ginga for himself. Then, Bucrates pins the whole thing on the real Budoh to make it look like treason, and Zahab is so enraged he sends the latter to the brig.
  • Immediate Sequel: The episode begins where the previous episode left off.
  • Manipulative Bitch: By shapeshifting into Budoh, Medoumedou convinces Dotoumusha to use the Lights of Ginga for himself and destroy the Gingamen.
  • No MacGuffin, No Winner: The Gingamen planned on using this trope by destroying the Lights of Ginga so neither Balban nor Bull Black could use it. However, the Lights choose the Gingamen because of that as it saw the Gingamen's sense of justice.
  • One-Winged Angel: Using the Lights of Ginga, Dotoumusha changes into a stronger form the Gingamen are not able to defeat.
  • Near-Villain Victory: Dotoumusha collected the Lights of Ginga, and he could have sent it to Budoh so Daitanix could reawaken. But thanks to Iliess' scheming, he never made it back.
  • Wham Episode: After a long hard search, the Gingamen receive the Lights of Ginga and gain a new power-up.
