Recap / Seijuu Sentai Gingaman Ep 19

Go To

Following the Black Knight's appearance, Budoh unleashes his strongest Majin group to hunt for the Lights of Ginga. And if it was not enough for the Gingamen, they witness how far Bull Black will go in his revenge streak.

Episode Tropes:

  • Anti-Hero: Bull Black firmly establishes himself as one as he disregards the safety of civilians when fighting Sunabakutou and showing no remorse when called out.
  • The Cameo: In a flashback, Sambash, Illes, Battobas, a couple members of the Majin Gang (Kolshizer, Torbador and Mandiger) and Medoumedou make a few appearances.
  • Foil: Acknowledged by the Gingamen in regards to Bull Black. Like the five, Bull Black lost his home and brother during a Balban attack, but that drove him to fight for revenge in contrast to the Gingamen fighting for justice.
  • I Work Alone: Bull Black rejects Ryouma's offer to join the Gingamen as he only needs GoTaurus in his quest to destroy the Balban.
  • Let's Get Dangerous!: With Bull Black's return and Captain Zahab giving Budoh a warning that he could be killed for failing to find the Lights of Ginga, Budoh decides to unleash his Four Shoguns to continue the hunt.
  • Tragic Keepsake: Bull Black keeps a small dart his deceased brother Krantz had.
  • What the Hell, Hero?: The Gingamen scold Bull Black for showing no concern for civilians caught in the crossfire, but he brushes them off.
  • The Worf Effect: Gingaoh plays worf against Sunabakutou to show how strong the Four Shoguns are compared to the other Majin the Gingamen faced before. Then Sunabakutou plays worf against GoTaurus and BullTaurus.
  • Would Hurt a Child:
    • Yes, Captain Zahab is so evil, he killed Bull Black's younger brother Krantz in cold blood.
    • On the flip side, Bull Black was willing to hurt a child Sunabakutou used as a human shield if it were not for Ryouma interfering.
