- As mentioned below, the whole hoax for this episode references War of the Gargantuas, but the Humonganauts also come in green and red. This is theorized to be due to gamma radiation exposure, referencing the Hulk and Red Hulk.
- The singer at the beginning, Trini Loo, is based on Trinnie Lee Kearney, who sang the same song in War of the Gargantuas. Reportedly,
Kearney was from a place called Crystal Cove.
