Mario travels around the globe with Cappy, capturing all sorts of different creatures and objects in order to get Cappy home!
- Accidental Misnaming: Mario calls Cappy "Crappy."
- Body Surf: As with the game this is based off of, Mario can hit people with Cappy to possess them.
- Call-Back: Pete the Skeleton is back, but despite remarking that he looks familiar, Mario doesn't recognize him.
- Foreshadowing: Cappy saying that Crazy Cap shouldn't be so far while in a desert hints that it was nearby where the episode started.
- Heroic Willpower: Hardly heroic, but SMG4's determination not to let Mario look at his search history was so powerful that he was able to force Mario out of his body on his own.
- Where It All Began: Turns out that Crazy Cap was next to Walmart the whole time. All Mario had to do was look to the right and he could've avoided the entire adventure.
- Would Hit a Girl: Mario attempts to invoke Wouldn't Hit a Girl by possessing Peach, but that obviously fails given the series' nature and SMG4 throws a TV at him.
