Mario and the gang play some Stupid Mario Kart game modes to see who is the best driver.
Mario and company go kart racing just like they do in their iconic kart racing franchise... except none of them are very good racers. As a result, they'll end up facing thrills, spills and epic fails of bizarre proportions.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: The boss, Link, is fitted with a powerful vehicle and with powerful items in hand, and he easily demolishes the racers.
- Cool Car: Or "Cool Monster Truck" in this case. Toad goes to upgrade his cart into a huge monster truck to stand a better chance at defeating the other racers.
- Disproportionate Retribution: Why do the cops go after Mario and the gang's blood? Fishy accidentally ran over a cop's table, knocking down his donut.
- Epic Fail: On a massive scale. To wit:
- The first race has Waluigi trapping some of them in his trap, Fishy driving into a tree thinking that he's the best until the tree lands on Waluigi, Bowser trying to woo Peach who uses a Bob-omb to blow themselves up, and Mario making donuts. In short, hardly anyone can race properly.
- Balloon Battle also didn't fare any better. All of the racers crash into each other, with each facing humiliatingly hilarious ends, such as Toad frying himself due to the Golden Mushroom's breakneck speeds. To top it off, Fishy manages to cause Mario and Bowser to slip on some banana peels, only to get squashed by both landing on him. The two rivals also can't move, causing the battle to end in a draw.
- No one can damage Link, even if they disguise themselves (like Wario) or try to fight him (like Mario), let alone, fight him properly, especially with the boss being so powerful with his durability and powerful items.
- None of the racers in the Crazy Taxi segment can drive normally, resulting in the gang earning the ire of the cops. Also, Mario isn't really participating, opting to run over some people.
- Flipping the Bird: SMG4, after declaring himself the winner of Crazy Taxi, gives two middle fingers to everyone, except Joe Boopkins. He's only stopped when Mario crashes into him.
- Hoist by His Own Petard: Waluigi tries to fire a missile from his launcher at Luigi, only for the latter, doing his death stare, to grab said missile and throw it back at him, destroying him with that same missile.
- Oh, Crap!: Wario's reaction to Fishy's father, Joe Boopkins, confronting him for being mean to his son is to slowly back away, right before Joe sends him flying.
- No-Sell: Whatever Mario and the gang do to Link, including Waluigi throwing a green shell at him, does nothing to him.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Waluigi's response to his green shell doing nothing to Link is to jump into the lava below.
- Serial Escalation: The video begins with a race, with everyone not faring well, then it proceeds to a balloon battle where everyone is eliminated with no winner, then it goes to a boss battle where everyone dies, and then... it proceeds to do a Crazy Taxi service which also gets the cops involved for not driving properly.
- Shout-Out:
- When Peach is clinging onto the edge during Balloon Battle, Mario pushes her off, akin to Scar pushing off Mufasa.Mario: Long live the king.
- The final segment of the video is taken from SEGA's Crazy Taxi with the rules of the mode being very similar to said game, albeit with the racers fighting to be the one to deliver the passenger to their destination.
