Anime has been banned in the Mushroom Kingdom! What will Mario and Boopkins do for that sweet sweet 2D?
Following on from the events of the previous blooper, Peach has banned anime and formed the Anime Secret Service (A.S.S) to destroy any anime they find. Part 2 of the Anime Arc.Upload Date: 23rd March 2019
- Arc Villain: Peach is setting up to be one for initiating the anime ban. This extends to exiling real-life anime characters such as Saiko.
- Call-Back: This episode picks up where the last left off, having Peach ban anime across the Mushroom Kingdom after getting her castle destroyed by Bob during the anime challenge.
- Continuity Nod: Swagmaster brings up how Mario and Boopkins made them lose their jobs back in Mario's Prison Escape as further motivation to kill them than they already have.
- Forced into Evil: Inverted. SMG4 starts out as an ally of the A.S.S. but is forced into helping the anime supporters when he is captured by Mario and co., and Swagmaster decides to pretend he double-crossed them so they can take him out too. However, SMG4 becomes far more willing to help when he learns real-life anime characters like Saiko are also affected by the ban.
- Moral Guardians: Peach pretty much becomes one in this.
