- "Could Have Avoided This!" Plot: If SMG4 hadn't thrown the book out the window, SMG3 wouldn't have made the Ztar.
- Enemy Mine: SMG3 allies with SMG4 and Mario because, in his words;SMG3: i made an evil star...but im not taking over the world...and im the only most evil one!
- Good Counterpart: The Old Man Star (OMS) to the Ztar.
- Fate Worse than Death: The Ztar can't die, so SMG4 and SMG3 chain it to a pipe on a boat and it's forced to listen to the Old Man Star's rambling.
- Phallic Weapon: SMG4's "CANNON PENIS" is used several times throughout the video, with the accompanying soundbite. The first two times, it hits Peach. The third time, SMG4 fires the Old Man Star at the Ztar. The fourth time (no fanfare), Mario fires a Toad, causing the Ztar to self-destruct. He immediately comes back because he's immortal, but they manage to deal with him anyway.
- Spanner in the Works: The Toad that randomly appeared and fused with the Ztar.
- Split Personality: Because a Toad got absorbed into the Ztar, it occasionally lapses into a hyperactive overfriendly personality.
