- Healing Factor: It is the only reason why Flum was able to survive despite the Anzu destroying her body in the previous chapter, and it is the reason she is eventually able to defeat the monster.
- Took a Level in Badass: Flum continues her climb in this regard by utilizing both her new powers as well as her intelligence to defeat the monster in both the light novel and the manga adapation.
- Wake-Up Call Boss: Whether it is the Anzu in the original light novel or the chimera in the manga adaptation, this battle serves as an early wake up call to Flum that she's going to have to deal with extremely dangerous monsters going forward. She will need more than just strength and equipment to win. She will need to use some intelligence as well.
