Mordecai and Rigby go with Muscle Man on a road trip to spread his father's hat's ashes.
This episode provides examples of:
- Big "NO!": When Muscle Man discovers the truth about his dad.
- Broken Pedestal: Subverted. Muscle Man was mad at his dad for lying to him but he later forgives him.
- Bury Me Not on the Lone Prairie: The main plot of this episode is centered around Mordecai, Rigby, and Muscle Man going to spread the ashes of the hat of the latter's dad.
- Dead Man Writing: Muscle Dad writes this knowing that his son would eventually find out about him lying about his job.
- Disney Villain Death: The truckers are sent falling off a cliff by the ghost of Muscle Man's father when they tried to run Muscle Man, Mordecai, and Rigby down with their big rig. Their big rig promptly explodes on impact.
- Dramatic Drop: Muscle Man's reaction when he finds out that his dad died.
- Irony: Hi Five Ghost doesn't deal with death well, despite literally being a ghost.
- Karmic Death: The Truckers, who mistreated Muscle Dad when he was alive just because he was a forklift driver, ended being kill by his ghost, when they attempted to run over Muscle Man, Mordecai, and Rigby.
- Kindness Ball: Benson is very respectful and sympathetic in this episode due to Muscle Dad's death. He asks for Mordecai and Rigby to accompany Muscle Man on his quest to spread the ashes of his dad's hat, and does so calmly without yelling or threatening to fire them. When they ask why Hi Five Ghost, Muscle Man's best friend, can't go instead, he explains how unfortunately Hi Five Ghost doesn't deal with death well and won't be much help.
- Laser-Guided Karma: Muscle Dad wants his hat's ashes spread at the Trucker Hall of Fame as revenge against the Truckers for mistreating him and talking down to him for being a forklift driver, as one final prank from beyond the grave. For bonus points, his ghost kills several Truckers that tried to kill his son Muscle Man and his friends, and he then proceeds to torment a few Trucker ghosts.
