Tropes
- Brick Joke: In "Previously On", it's all but stated that Carolina is a terrible singer, but the guys were too scared to tell her so. In this episode, Carolina reveals that she is fully aware of her own lack of talent, but enjoyed watching them squirm.
- That Came Out Wrong: As part of a plan to draw out whoever's hunting down Freelancers, Wash asks Carolina to take off her armor. That this sudden request came right after a tender moment, it leaves Carolina a little stunned before Wash explains himself.
- Wham Episode: The UNSC isn't the one hunting down Freelancers- the Blues and Reds are, with Temple as the ringleader. He's been using the armor-lock function on Freelancer suits to paralyze the agents and letting them slowly waste away. He then does this to Wash and Carolina.
- Wham Shot: While checking out Temple's collection of Freelancer suits, Carolina realizes that those aren't just armor when she sees Agent Illinois.
