Vanessa Kimball, leader of Chorus' New Republic rebellion, makes a journal entry on how the remaining Reds and Blues, Grif, Simmons, Caboose and Tucker, are integrating with the army.
Tropes:
- Animation Bump: After being absent for Season 11, CG (specifically, on the Halo 4 engine) makes a return for this season.
- Big Eater: Grif has incorporated infiltrating the mess hall into his squad's daily training.
- Cannot Talk to Women: Kimball mentions that Simmons can't really communicate with his squad. Given that they're all girls, this trope may be the problem.
- Determinator: According to Kimball, Tucker isn't smart or strong, but he is driven. The question will be if drive is enough.
- Noodle Incident: Caboose is no longer allowed to operate vehicles or heavy machinery. Kimball won't go into details why.
