Sam leaps into ne'er do well bouncer Buster who is in the middle of kidnapping a baby along with a stripper named Bunny. Sam must somehow get the baby to its rightful awarded-custody parent.
Tropes
- Continuity Snarl: At the end of this episode during its original airing, Sam leaps into Gerald Bryant from "Star Crossed", an episode which had already aired the previous season. This represents a continuity error, and the ending leap should have been into Phillip Dumont from the next episode, "Sea Bride". This was later fixed in syndication.
- Custody Battle: This kidnapping is the result of a child's father stealing his child from the mother who was awarded custody.
- Didn't Think This Through: Reed chases Sam and Bunny into a state where he is a wanted man. When he demands that the state police arrest the "kidnappers", the cops instead point their guns at him.
- The Kindnapper: Leapee Buster and Bunny are kidnappers, just not the evil kind. Reed, on theother hand, kidnapped his daughter from his ex-wife, who had sole custody.
- Not Actually His Child: It turns out that Bunny is lying about Kristy being her child.
