In the week that unfolds after the dunkleosteus mission, the park's veterinary division reflect on their life and work at the park.
- A Day in the Limelight: This chapter serves as such for all the introduced prominent members of the park's veterinary division.
- Adaptational Nice Guy: Downplayed, but the Megatherium in Prehistoric Earth were portrayed as powerful, intimidating beasts who served as a partial Knight of Cerebus for "Ten to Midnight". Here, they're GentleGiants.
- Gentle Giant: Sid the megatherium. Very much so.
- Interspecies Friendship: This chapter shows how this has formed between head vet Linda and Sid the megatherium. Bethany has also, as of the events of this chapter, formed a similar such bond with Larry the petrolacosaurus while also seeming to have genuine potential at forming yet more such bonds with Selqet the pulmonoscorpius and Neith the megalorachne.
- Kindly Vet: All four prominent vet characters featured in this chapter are very much this.
- Shout-Out:
- The male Morrison formation ceratosaurus and two of the females of the same species are revealed to be named (respectively) Rhaegar, Lyana, and Ellia. The third female, meanwhile, is revealed to have been named Vermithrax.
- Similarly, the female of the allosaurus fragilis pack's dominant couple is revealed to be named Demona.
- And in an example that doubles as a Mythology Gag to Prehistoric Park: Extinction World, the 'dominant couple' of the park's phorusrhacos population are named Phillip and Aurora.
