Anti-Climax Boss: The three Reds, Chad and Joel finish off Vypra and Quarganon in one shot from their Battlizers. - Awesomeness Is Volatile: Much like the In Space / Lost Galaxy teamup, when two full teams of Rangers get together and morph all at the same time, it causes an explosion of Pure Awesomeness. To make things better, the Sixth Rangers of both teams are present, unlike the previous team-ups.
- Expy: The Demon Warriors are quite similar to the Ghouls from Trakeena's Revenge, being Superpowered Mooks that are specific to a crossover episode.
- Defeat Equals Explosion: suprisingly averted, as Vypra and Quarganon die in a very atypical manner for this show; after being blasted by the battlizers, both simply vanish. Normally, monsters stagger for a moment as the damage takes it's toll, then fall over and explode.
- Unexplained Recovery: It;s never explained how Vypra could return to a corporeal form, since she died by being absorbed by Queen Bansheera, who was eventually banished to the shadow realm.
- What Happened to the Mouse?: Ransik and Nadira just disappear during the big fight.
