- Action Prologue: The episode begins with B-Squad searching for Bork.
- Aborted Arc: At the end, Gruumm tells Omni that he has captured S.P.D. technology and will use it against the Rangers. This is never brought up in the season again. It's likely that Gruumm was referring to the corrupted A-Squad team (even though they were not really "captured").
- Department of Redundancy Department: After Bridge finishes off the monster, he says, "Now that it's over... it's over."
- Lampshade Hanging: Piggy comments on how distressing it is how he never sees Sam demorphed.
- The Walls Are Closing In: Bridge is trapped in this; Jack pulls him out at the last possible instant.
