- Freezard is all about the cold, so Carter uses the Thermo Blaster to warm him up and cough up the other Rangers.
- During Freezard's fight with the Lightspeed Solarzord, Olympius attempts to help by darkening the sky. As a result, the Megazord combination is undone and the Max Solarzord's power fades.
- Bring It: Freezard to Joel before revealing his swallowing trick.
- Evil vs. Evil: Olympius and Diabolico go at it so much that Carter is able to get away.
- Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: Just as Olympius and Freezard are about to get Carter, Loki and Vypra interrupt and sic Diabolico on Olympius. The constant fighting between the demons allows Carter to escape. Olympius points this out to Bansheera back at the Skull Cavern.
- The Only One Allowed to Defeat You: When Carter is the last Ranger standing, Olympius wants the pleasure of finishing him himself. He changes his tune during the rematch, though.
- Sealed Good in a Can: Freezard can swallow whatever he blasts, including four of the Rangers. Since it's so cold in there, they can barely move.
- Shout-Out: Like Fat Bastard, Freezard taps his stomach while shouting, "Get in my belly!"
- Skewed Priorities: Bansheera chastises her minions for being focused on their petty feuds instead of rebuilding her palace.
