- A Day in the Limelight: Alpha gets his chance to rescue the rangers on the planet's surface, by controlling the Astro Megazord remotely from the bridge, and fighting the Monster of the Week with it! (rather than the rangers controlling the megazord from the cockpit inside its head).
- The Artifact: When Andros enters the Astro Megazord cockpit, you can see a pair of human hands gripping his chair, and he seems to be speaking to someone. This was Professor Kubota, The Mentor from Megaranger who joined the team in the cockpit (thus, many of the cockpit shots had to be cut).
- Alien Sky: The planet Kalderon appears to have what looks like two gigantic moons; one of those moons looks like the planet Jupiter. And as the volcano on that planet is emitting smoke and clouds, they turn different colors as they go up to the skies.
- Big Damn Heroes: Again, Alpha coming to the rescue with the Astro Megazord!
- Dodge by Braking: When Astronema finds the Megaship approaching Kalderon, she sends three Velocifighters against it. After the rangers dispatch two of them, Andros uses this strategy to get a weapons lock on the final Velocifighter and destroy it.
- Riddle for the Ages & What Happened to the Mouse?: We may never know what was on the damaged disc, if there was anything on it at all.
