Part 27 Beating Up Discord
We begin with the elements finding Discord and he is not in good shape. They give their speeches, but Discord is able to copy what they are saying to their confusion and shock. Discord starts talking about how he feels like he is in a video game that promises free choice when in fact, you have far from it. He tries to find a Golden Ending but is unable to and is not allowed to just stop playing. It then seems that Discord has seen and has faced the Elements more than one occasion. This is confusing the heck out of Twilight, who asks what kind of trick Discord is trying to pull. Discord says that this is no trick as he reads out the Elements reactions. Twilight though caches everyone off guard by calling Discord Master, telling Discord that he taught her the other side of Magic. She asks why he never left the world and Discord says he simply cannot leave. Twilight sees no reason to attack Discord, but the others don't see it her way, all but Apple Pie going right into the attack. Apple Pie says her thoughts and just walks away, knowing that holding a grudge is never a good thing, but the other four has given into their hatred of Discord and wish to punish him even more. Twilight tells them to stop, even despite Discord believing he deserves it. He asks them not to go after Screwball or Mad Tiara and Twilight agrees telling the other four Elements off. Reminding them that Apple Pie, the youngest of the group, was the only one of them who didn't act like a child. Discord asks if they are going to blast him with the Elements and Twilight simply says no. Discord sees this as a way to free himself from the trap he is in and after a bit of coaxing is able to convince Twilight to cast the Memory Spell on him. Twilight does so and sees into Discord's memories, but before he can elaborate on them, he is pulled to meet his family saying that he hopes they can achieve their Golden Ending. The Elements look around realizing that they have won, they use the Elements to change the bad parts of the world and leave the other parts alone. It looks like it is over but as we see with Pinkie and her foals, there is a third disk to Dark World, the threat is not over yet.
