Ash and Goh come across a movie being made, where a Ditto is one of the stars. However, the Ditto has stage fright, causing it to run off and come across Jessie, who decides to help out the Transform Pokémon in her own way.
- Chekhov's Gag: James suggests that Ditto slaps his cheeks to get it to focus. Ditto does that at the end to make a successful performance.
- A Day in the Limelight: The first episode of Journeys to put Team Rocket in the limelight, particularly Jessie.
- Jerkass Has a Point: As harsh as she was, Jessie was right about how the Ditto shouldn't be feeling sorry for itself for not being able to transform right, especially when it turns out its problems transforming was coming from Kublock's short temper over its acting.
- No Celebrities Were Harmed: Kublock the director is totally not Stanley Kubrick, right?
