• The Cavalry Arrives Late: For once, Ash was being cautious and sent Fletchinder out to keep an eye on Bunnelby and Chespin. By the time he arrives in order to stop Team Rocket from kidnapping them, Clemont's Pokémon have things under control.
• A Day in Her Apron: With the Pokémon Center suffering a blackout and Nurse Joy understaffed, Ash and company volunteer themselves to help out.
• A Day in the Limelight: Halfway through the episode, it becomes focused on Bunnelby and Chespin as they complete the errand Clemont sent them on.
• The Day the Music Lied: "KiraKira" is played as Clemont's Pokémon continue with their errand, but is cut short when a Fearow steals Chespin's purse.
• Fastball Special: Poor Bunnelby, where Chespin decided to throw him at the Fearow without any warning.
• Girly Skirt Twirl: Bonnie does this while wearing one of Nurse Joy's dresses.
• Laser-Guided Karma: Kinda; Chespin, the foolish in the Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling during the errand, gets a Disproportionate Reward for his "efforts", and winds up with an enormous Balloon Belly as a result, giving him a bad stomachache .
