After arriving in Bales Town, Flash and his friends meet with Celestia's younger sister, Professor Luna, who shows them the Fossil Research Lab, where using a Shell Fossil, Luna revives a Armadiload and helps reintroduce it to the world.
- Bait-and-Switch: When the group meets Professor Luna in front of the Bales Town Library, Twilight and the group initially thinks she wants to show them something that involves the library. But when they finally meet her, she actually takes them away from the library to Bales Town Fossil Research Lab, to Twilight's disappointment.
- Big "NO!": Twilight's reaction when she sees the library is closed for the day.
- Mundane Utility: Flash has Prongs use Leech Seed on Armadiload when it starts running wild in the lab as a way to get it to lose energy quicker and calm down.
- Swapped Roles: In canon, Luna was banished for a thousand years and upon her return she found herself as a Fish out of Temporal Water, needing help adapting to the modern world. Here, she is now the one helping someone else adapt to the new world, after reviving Armadiload after it was extinct for millions of years.
- Tempting Fate: Luna decides to go ahead and revive Armadiload against Celestia's warnings, believing the possibility of learning more about it is too much to pass. But things eventually go out of control when Armadiload evolves into Ankyload when threatened and goes on a rampage that puts the town in danger.
