Go To

The Resistance plans to take down Lovely Corp by seizing their one chance to infiltrate the building and destroy it from the inside. However, AFKAK betrays the team to thwart the Lovely-Jabowski Wedding instead.

  • Area 51: Although the Area 51 doesn't appear, a top-secret government base serves as a stand-in for this. It contains several alien life forms, encapsulated in a secret laboratory.
  • Bait-and-Switch: Thester tells Charles Lovely that he borrowed Saddam Hussein's idea of having bodyguards take plastic surgery to look like himself. The scene then pulls back to reveal that his bodyguards all look like Saddam Hussein.
  • Black Site: Randall, Fitz, and Dusty sneak into a top-secret government base to find Mrs. Marlow.
  • Blood from the Mouth: Karen vomits blood profusely all over the corpse of The Governor's son, which just so happened to be the guy's lifelong dream.
  • The Bluebeard: This episode reveals that Charles Lovely has been married to five different women in his past and that all of his ex-wives are currently deceased. Although it's not confirmed that Charles had anything to do with their respective deaths, it's more likely than not that this is what the writers were alluding to.
  • Boom, Headshot!: Robby shoots Norf in the head with an AK-47, killing him.
  • The Cameo: A handful of Farzar aliens make cameos, resting among the other aliens being held in the government laboratory.
  • Chest Burster: An alien bursts out of Randall's chest while he's in the middle of yelling at Dusty.
  • Does Not Know His Own Strength: Cal Fullerton crushes a doorknob, while attempting to open the door.
Cal: [crying] I destroy everything I touch!
  • The Easy Way or the Hard Way: Agent Clappers gives Thester this ultimatum, while interrogating him. Thester is so cowardly, that he cracks over his fear of the easy way.
Clappers: Listen up, you bouncing bag of bing-bong British bullshit! We could do this the easy way, or-
Thester: NOT THE EASY WAY!!! OH DEAR GOD, ANYTHING BUT THE EASY WAY!!!
  • Glad I Thought of It: Norf gets his ideas stolen from him several times in this episode.
AFKAK: We need to stop the wedding!
Norf: Shouldn't we take advantage of everyone being at the wedding and sneak into Lovely Corp and take it down once and for all?
Clappers: SHUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH, NORF! Shouldn't we take advantage of everyone being at the wedding and sneak into Lovely Corp and take it down once and for all?
    AFKAK: You're right, Agent Clappers.
  • I Need to Go Iron My Dog: Randall and Fitz make a self-referential excuse, when avoiding helping Dusty move his mom's corpse to the funeral home.
Randall: We'd love to help but unfortunately, we're um, uh, ... uh, ... b-busy!
Fitz: Yeah, [chuckles] That's it. We-We-We're busy uh, making up a ...
Randall: An excuse! Yeah, we're-we're making up an excuse so that we, dehhh ...
Fitz: Uh, don't have to help you ...
    Randall: Move your ...
    Fitz: Fat dead mom!
Randall: Uh, fat dead mom! Right.
  • Killed Off for Real: After faking her own death to get a free ride to Goopy Goobers, Dusty's mom is revealed to actually be alive, shortly before being startled witless by a surprise birthday party, which gives her a heart attack and kills her for real.
  • May–December Romance: Not unike Gina, all of Charles Lovely's ex-wives are significantly far younger than he is, appearing to all be in their 20s-early 30s at most.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: AFKAK is horrified to see the Resistance captured due to his actions.
  • Noodle Incident: Bullet brings up that moment when Karen came over to his house, drunk and made him lick a bunch of peanut butter off her pussy.
  • "Open!" Says Me: While zonked out on inhalants, Karen smashes down the door to AFKAK's bedroom to search for Baby Kevin.
  • Overly Long Gag: Dusty runs around in circles and rolls on the floor, crying over the death of his mom.
  • Paper-Thin Disguise: Dusty's alien disguise. The only person not to believe this disguise is Barry, who gets scolded by his boss for not allowing, what is clearly a genuine alien life form, into the government lab.
Dusty: I'm an alien! I'm an alien!
  • Punch a Wall: Camaro Bob punches a wall several times out of anger.
  • Satchel Switcheroo: Karen's medication gets switched out with Bullet's drugs and she ends up getting high. Bullet lampshades this.
Bullet: I think our identical pill cases got hilariously mixed up.
  • Shout-Out: Hopson is dressed up like Elmer Fudd when shooting birds to get the dick pics they're delivering. He's later shown catching the birds in a house suspended by balloons.
  • Tempting Fate: Right as Anton is saying "All's well that ends well.", Karen sneaks up behind him and tears his head off.
  • Rule of Three: During Karen's sideplot, she goes to three different events, each while high on one of three different drugs. First, she goes to a museum opening, high on MDMA. Next, she goes on the news, high on inhalants. Lastly, she goes to a funeral, high on bath salts.
  • Wedding Deadline: AFKAK betrays his own team and goes out of his way to stop Charles and Gina's wedding. He's able to get in before either party says "I do." but despite his Anguished Declaration of Love and his attempt to expose Charles Lovely's mind control plot, (which he turned out to be completely wrong about), Gina still goes on to marry Charles Lovely, and making AFKAK's feat completely for naught.
