After yet another bad date, Kevin starts to believe that the reason he strikes out with women so much is because of the quality of his car. Meanwhile, Dusty gets rich from selling his homemade (and highly addictive) chicken.
- Addled Addict: Randall becomes this when getting addicted to Dusty's heroin-laced chicken.
- A.I. Is a Crapshoot: Karla is a nod to HAL-9000 from 2001: A Space Odyssey.
- Ambiguously Brown: Karla asks Kevin if the reason he doesn't want to introduce her to her mom is because of the fact that she's "black", which she literally is.Kevin: No! No ... That's why I'm not telling my dad.
- Ambiguously Gay:
- Delbert gets into the habit of fucking cars and tells his father that he's a "Hondasexual".
- Kevin also demonstrates some ambiguious bisexuality, when Karla flirtatiously tells him she sees a "handsome man" (him) and Kevin excitedly looks out the window because he wants to see him too.
- Cannot Talk to Women: Kevin fucks up his date, bad.
- Even Evil Has Standards: When Marcos and his guard, who are under the impression Dusty is an American drug lord and that chickens are a euphemism for people, hear Dusty talk about decapitating chickens with his bare hands, the guard vomits and Marcos himself is taken aback.
- One Dialogue, Two Conversations: Dusty, the chicken chef, talks to Marcos Narcos, the drug lord. Both of them are unaware of the other's profession and they think they do the same job as themselves.Marcos: Dusty, a pleasure to meet you. I am Marcos Narcos. I hear you've been selling a lot of my product.Dusty: I'm really cooking with it. Back home, oh they're terrified of me. All those little chickens.Marcos: Oh, I bet they are. How do you keep them in line?Dusty: I cut off their heads. Sometimes, I don't even use a knife. I just use my bare hands. Boop. Rip them right off.Marcos: Dios mio!
- Restaurant-Owning Episode: Dusty and Bullet run a fried chicken truck (Dusty's Chicken Truck) selling 2-piece meals for $300.
