Snowboarders on Jake's mountain are stuck on a broken chair lift while a monster is on the loose!
This episode includes examples of:
- Coincidental Accidental Disguise: Mayor Goodway gets covered in bright green mountain mud and leaves are blown right into her face by the wind. Then the mud hardens to the point she can barely move or talk. All of this leads to everyone else on the mountain thinking she’s some kind of mud monster.
- Cosmetic Horror: Mayor Goodway is just trying to relax with a nice mud mask, when she has an accident and ends up scaring everyone else on the mountain with her mud-covered appearance.
- Covered in Mud: During her and Jake’s spa day, Mayor Goodway accidentally falls into a tub of mud and gets covered from head to toe in the bright green sludge.
- Dramatic Irony: The audience knows that the mud monster is just Mayor Goodway, but the characters have to figure it out on their own.
- "Everybody Laughs" Ending: Everyone laughs when Jake finally comes out of his cabin at the end of the episode and warns Mayor Goodway that his mountain mud can make people look a little scary sometimes.
- Growling Gut: Rubble’s stomach growls when he comes up with the idea to make a snow hot dog.Skye: Rubble always gets the foodiest ideas!
- Secret Ingredient: Jake tells Mayor Goodway that the secret ingredient in his mountain mud is pine sap…and then realizes he didn’t do a very good job at keeping it secret.Jake: Oops, I probably shouldn’t have said that.
- Stuck on a Ski Lift: Scared by the monstrous appearance of Mayor Goodway, Captain Turbot, Daring Danny X, Alex, and Ms. Marjorie all board the ski lift. Danny kicks the machine into overdrive, which causes the lift to break and them all to be stuck in the chairs high above the ground.
