P.O.I.N.T. Prep Academy's megafootball team takes on their rivals in a big game... but when those rivals turn out to be the Lakewood Plaza Turbos, Enid feels conflicted.

- All Just a Dream: The episode opens with Enid back at the Bodega, with her, Rad, and K.O. acting very woodenly and wearing big, goofy smiles. It cuts to Enid Asleep in Class, where she wakes up with a scream.
- Ash Face: An outburst of lighting from an irritated Professor Sunshine leaves all her students covered in ash.
- Calvinball: Megafootball is said to be a very complicated and nuanced game. Sparko tries to explain it to Enid, but his voice is muted as she gets distracted watching Rad. From what it can be seen, the game is just American football with crazy obstacles added, played with a giant ball that is half football-half soccer ball.
- Conflicting Loyalty: Thanks to Foxtail threatening to fail her in Strength class and have her expelled, Enid is torn between her classmates at Point Prep and her friends at Lakewood Plaza.
- The Main Characters Do Everything: Parodied. K.O. is the water-boy, cheerleader, coach and assistant coach for the Lakewood Plaza Turbos. When Enid jokes if he's also the announcer, K.O. reveals that he is, and he is also the game's referee (although the only thing he does is that role is serve as timekeeper).
- Shout-Out:
- This episode's title is a reference to the Monday Night Football theme, possibly filtered through its reference by Mystery Science Theater 3000.
- The rival teams mentioned by Foxtail include Luna Nova Magical Academy, Riboflavin Adventure Academy and Ghoul School.
- Wham Line: At the end of the episode, Enid confides in her friends "I think something messed-up is going on at P.O.I.N.T. Prep..."
