K.O. gets his first solo mission: fighting Jethro, whom Rad and the rest dub "simple" enough for the new hero. When K.O. realizes the monotony of facing him, he begins to doubt himself.
Tropes:
- Big Little Man: Jethro's introduction has him shot at a low angle so he looks tall and intimidating. Then it cuts to him being only about a foot tall. Then averted with Mega Jethro.
- Eat the Camera: Inverted with Rad at the very beginning of the episode.
- Hidden Depths: Discussed. K.O. resents that Rad called him simple like Jethro, and believes that Jethro may have more to him that it seems. He is disappointed when that's not the case, thinking that he's just as simple, but then Rad says that Jethro was filled with fake stuff, whereas K.O. is full of real stuff, which makes him more complex than a mere robot.
- King Mook: Mega Jethro is a bigger, tougher version of the diminutive regular Jethros.
- Not Worth Killing: Rad and Enid decide to ignore Jethro due to his fragility and simpleminded mission, allowing K.O. to handle him. While he and Rad face the larger Mega-Jethro, Enid just gets back to work.
- That Poor Car: Brandon loses both his mother's and his father's car due to K.O. fighting the Jethros, as well as to Mega Jethro.
- Title Drop: Rad says this to K.O., allowing him to face the robot.
- What Measure Is a Mook?: Enid and Rad consider the Jethro line the worst of the Boxmore robots.
